 Reflection in antigone

Antigone (Euripides play) - Wikipedia

What strikes me most about Antigone is it addresses themes such as justice, morality, and power. I like that the character of Antigone faces moral conflicts when he disobeys King Creon's orders and buries his brother Polyneices, even though this goes against the laws that King Creon put in place. What is most striking about Antigone is that it focuses on the clash between divine and human laws, and how a person must decide when to follow their conscience and disobey the king's laws in the name of morality and justice. The tragedy illustrates the ethical dilemmas that can arise when these two aspects conflict.

  1. How do you see someone getting out of this kind of dilemma - following "divine" laws vs human laws of the state?
